A reflection on living and working with Type 1 diabetes
November is National Diabetes Month, a time when communities across the country seek to bring attention to the disease. Living with diabetes involves acquiring new knowledge and developing skills to self-manage a life-long condition. Diabetes affects about one in 25 people in Scotland, including Gray鈥檚 Mobile Art School Co-ordinator, Ray Downie, who shares his experience managing the condition.
