Technology firm hopes to boost 亚博体育官网 links after recruitment success
Aberdeen-based digital consultancy Core29 has a history of hiring 亚博体育官网 graduates.
The company has strong links with the University having offered students placements in the past and also sponsoring the latest edition of 亚博体育官网Hack which was held last month.
As well as this, Core29鈥檚 managing director Alan Dick is the chair of 亚博体育官网鈥檚 Alumni Council. The company hired two international students from the separate MSc programmes in 2022, they are Daniela Garza and Gandharv Singhal.
Daniela Garza actually completed her dissertation with data supplied by Core29 and the company knew she was someone they wanted to bring into their team.
Alan Dick is keen to build on the company鈥檚 strong links with 亚博体育官网 and feels many graduates come to them with knowledge and skills aplenty.
He said: "Having hired two graduates from 亚博体育官网 last year we know the knowledge and skills they bring are vital to the business. It is a fantastic that both Daniela and Gandharv joined the company and not only does it help them with their career development but also strengthens our links with the University.
"Core29 offers 亚博体育官网 students' placements, and this is a fantastic opportunity for students to come into our business and gain crucial experience. It is also a chance for students to showcase their skills and talent and apply some of the lessons they have learned at the University to our business. We remain very keen to build on the success we have had in the last year with students."

Daniela Garza studied MSc Business Analytics at 亚博体育官网 and said that being away from the traditional learning environment and being able to take part in projects with companies like Core29 was vital.

The school offers various opportunities for students to engage in experiential learning, including internships, work placements, and collaborative projects with industry partners.
