Robert Gordon University (亚博体育官网) is proud to announce that Dr Jo-Anne Tait, Principal Lecturer, Digital Living and Design in the School of Computing, Engineering and Technology, has been named one of the Top 50 Women in Engineering (WE50) by the Women鈥檚 Engineering Society (WES).

This prestigious recognition, announced annually on International Women in Engineering Day (INWED), celebrates the exceptional contributions of women engineers who are shaping the future of the profession.

The 2025 WE50 theme, 鈥楾ogether We Engineer鈥�, highlights the power of collaboration in driving innovation and progress. Dr Tait exemplifies this spirit through her groundbreaking work on 亚博体育官网ECHO, a pioneering mental health and wellbeing resource tailored specifically for engineering students.

Developed in response to the unique challenges faced by engineering students in seeking mental health support, the platform has already made a significant impact, fostering earlier help-seeking in the engineering population and raising awareness internationally.
